Recommended Version

The currently recommended production strength version for material flow control purposes is myWMS Version 3.
The currently recommended production strength version for warehouse management purposes is myWMS AS (Version 4).

myWMS AS

myWMS for Application Server (AS) is the result of the P4 development and the lessons learned. Open Source means: publish early, publish often. myWMS is now about being discussed more than ever. Please also refer to the myWMS Wiki where cutting edge development information can be found.
The preview of myWMS AS is available in the public download area, named myWMS 4.0. Preview does not mean not ready for use. Preview means: not released and things may improve. P4 is working and it is working well.
It has a boost of performance improvement against the warehouse management part of Version 3.

myWMS P4

The protopyte 4 is a development version of the myWMS project. It is dedicated to evaluate if the application server technologie is suitable for warehouse management systems.
The main purpose of the P4 is the basicWMS. In fact, basicWMS in its current state is now and for the near future founded on P4.

The P4 is currently being improved for productive environments. Interfaces and architecture are fix at this time and now is the time for testing and debugging.

Hints

  • In general you need to accept the myWMS license to be able to download the public myWMS files.
  • To download the commercial myWMS files, your account needs to be DIN-enabled. This means, you or your company must be a valid member of the Developer Inside Network.
  • In general you are free to use Unix, Linux or Windows operating systems. Please use the tarballs for Unix and Linux, because the zip archive may be not packed apropriatly.
  • Please unpack the zip file or tarball to a directory of your choice or deploy the war file to your tomcat.
  • If you have questions, please refer to the myWMS Wiki. If your question is not solved there, please do not hesitate to add your question there or to contact the myWMS team. You are welcome.
